Larissa Rosanoff, soprano
Swiss soprano of Russian origin, Larissa Rosanoff dazzles us with the beauty of her sublime voice and her innate gifts of actress and musicality.
Among her commitments in 2020 we will note a new creation around the figure of the famous poet Alexandre Pouchkine at the Gautier Theater, then she will sing again her favorite role of Musetta in Bohemia at the Victoria Hall in Geneva, followed by a tour in Switzerland.
In 2018/2019 she was Gianetta in the Elisir d'amore at the Bâtiment des Forces motrices in Geneva, the Théâtre Reflet in Vevey and at the Théâtre National de Macon, France; Tatiana in Eugène Onéguine at the Théâtre de la Madeleine and at the Théâtre Gauthier; Ines in Il Trovatore at the Bâtiment des Forces motrices in Geneva; Vincenette in Gireod's Mireille at Frank-Martin Hall in Geneva; Soloist with the Macon National Orchestra in "Zarzuela" conducted by Eric Geneste, France.
Amongst the numerous roles she sang on stage are: Musetta in La Bohème (Teatro Greco Antico, Taormina; Teatro Verdi, Montecatini; Victoria Hall, Geneva), Fiorella in Les Brigands (Theater Gautier, Chênes-Bougeries), Clorinda in La Cenerentola (Teatro Verdi, Italy, dir. Dettori), Pamina in Zauberflöte(Rome Opera Festival, dir. M. H. Kim), Sophie in Werther (Theater la Madeleine, Geneva, dir. Alexander), Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte (Geneva and Torino m.s Rochaix, dir. Gomez), Micaela in La Tragédie de Carmen (by Brook, France, dir. Marguier), Stephano in Romeo et Juliette (Theater Alhambra, dir. Le Roy), Fulvie in Gladiateur (world premiere, Paul Vidal, Theater Les Salons, m.s. Campos), Virtu in L'Incoronazione di Poppea (BFM, dir. Garcia Alarcon, m.s. Rochaix), Frasquita in Carmen (Rome Opera Festival, Ital; Festival du Château de Linières, France ), Annina (covering and singing Violetta) in La Traviata (BFM, Geneva), Papagena in Zauberflöte (Rome Opera Festival), Elvirain Don Giovanni (Theater des Amis, Carouge, Geneva), Belinda in Dido and Aeneas (Theater Cite Bleue, Geneva). With the baryton Sacha Michon she created the “Transsibirskaia” show presented in the Theater «Les Salons» in Geneva for the Richard Wagner Romand Circle and after a big public success is on tour in Switzerland till 2019. Larissa Rosanoff is soloist at the Operami company in Geneva.
Within the baroque music she sang as solist in Salve Regina (Scarlatti), Messiah (Handel), Christmas oratorio (Bach), Magnificat (Bach), Stabat Mater (Pergolese), Dixit Dominus (Handel), Passion St Jean (Bach), Passion (Aparicio),
Larissa Rosanoff has been notably directed by Gabriel Garrido, Leonardo Garcia Alarcon, Celso Antunes, Emmanuel Krivine, Gianluigi Dettori, Silvia Casarin Rizzola, Sebastien Brugiere, Benoit Willmann, in such prestigious places as the Teatro Greco Antico in Taormina, Victoria Hall, Bâtiment des Forces Motrices or the Grand Théâtre in Geneva. Amongst the stage directors she worked under the direction of Francois Rochaix, Pascale Vachoux, Enrico Stinchelli, Mathilde Reichler, Benoit Blancpain, Julien Ostini.
Graduated in opera singing from the Conservatoire of Lausanne with distinction in 2008 (Prof Mme Erika Bill-Geiger), Larissa obtained her Master in classical singing (Prof Mme Diaconu) from the HEM of Geneva in 2014. She had the chance to follow the masterclasses of Teresa Berganza, Guiseppe Sabbatini, Edda Moser, Patricia Petibon, Alain Garichot, Stephen Taylor, Luisa Castellani, Hedwig Fassebender. Within the Geneva Opera Studio she sang such roles as: Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Norina in Don Pasquale, Adina in Elisir d'Amore, Sandmannchen in Hansel und Gretel, Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni, Messagera in Orfeo, Servilia in Clemenza di Tito.
