The virtuoso coloratura soprano Odile Heimburger combines the operatic repertoire, the oratorio, the recital and the musical.
Her upcoming engagements include a tour in Vietnam next September, a collaboration with the Trio Chausson on operetta arias and operetta arranged for the trio and the soprano, and concerts as an associate artist of the OSM (Symphonic Orchestra of Mulhouse) in October November December with the cellist Gauthier Capuçon under the direction of Jacques Lacombe, then the continuation of the tour of "Je m'appelle Ismaël" created at the TNS in February 2019. In this theatrical and musical theater project by the director and author Lazare, the lyrical singer transforms herself into a dancer, improviser, and an electro violinist, a real performance.
After violin studies conducted at conservatories in Strasbourg, Paris Ve, and Rueil-Malmaison, a hypokhâgne option music at Lycée Fénelon, a khagne at Lycée Jules Ferry and a bachelor of modern philosophy option at La Sorbonne Nouvelle, she joined the class Yuri Zhislin's violin at the Royal College of Music in London in 2003 and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for a singing master's degree with honors, under the tutelage of Sarah Walker, Yvonne Kenny, Sue Waters and Philip Doghan.
Laureate of many international competitions (first prize in Marseille, winner Bel Canto Bellini, 2nd prize "opera" Canari, Enesco - best interpretation of contemporary music - Alain Fondary - public prize ...), the singer assumes the roles of coloratura and of lyric coloring, thus covering a wide repertoire: Daughter of the Regiment, Ophélie, Lakmé, Queen of the Night, Konstanze, Manon, Olympia, Elvira at Bellini ... Her taste for words and games leads her to regularly collaborate with theater directors such as Jean-François Sivadier.
The young singer often performs abroad, in China and Canada in particular.
